Potenza RE050

The Potenza RE050 is an Max Performance Summer tire designed to complement the performance of sports cars, sports coupes and sport sedans. While the Potenza RE050 is used as Original Equipment on the supercharged Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG sedan, a Potenza RE050 Scuderia version is used on the 12-cylinder Enzo Ferrari supercar, and a Run Flat version is used on the BMW Z4 sports cars and 5-Series sedans. The Potenza RE050 was developed to provide good traction along with responsive and predictable dry and wet road handling. It is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. On the outside, the Potenza RE050 features a high grip tread compound molded into a directional tread design. A continuous center rib, large tread blocks and stable shoulder elementsprovide responsive handling, high-speed stability and traction on dry roads, while circumferential and lateral tread grooves are aimed to pump water out from under the tire's footprint to minimize hydroplaning and aid wet traction. Internally, the Potenza RE050 features twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance handling, high speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight. The fabric cord body and hard rubber sidewall filler help blend uniform ride quality with steering response and lateral stability.

Destination LE

The Destination LE with UNI-T is Firestone's Highway All-Season tire developed to bring the benefits of UNI-T technology to sport utility vehicles, vans and light duty pickup trucks. It is designed to combine much of a passenger tire's quiet comfort with yea-round traction, even in light snow.On the outside, the Destination LE uses Firestone's Weathergrip tread compound enhanced with a special Long Link Carbon Black (L.L. Carbon) to boost wet traction while improving treadwear. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design featuring independent blocks that use Firestone's 5 Degree Noise Reduction to generate noise-canceling sound waves to reduce overall tire noise. On the inside, the Destination LE features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to provide strength, uniformity and durability on top of a polyester cord body that helps cushion the ride.

Dueller AT REVO

The Dueler A/T REVO with UNI-T AQII Technology was developed to meet the needs of pickup truck and sport utility vehicle drivers who drive their vehicle both on and off the road. The Dueler A/T REVO is Bridgestone's first Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire in America to feature UNI-T AQII Technology. It uses an advanced compound and construction features that enhance and preserve wet traction throughout the tire's life to better handle wet road conditions.On the outside, the Dueler A/T REVO molds a Super Long Link Carbon Black, Dual Layer Tread II compound into an aggressive, all-terrain pattern of interlocking tread blocks to provide traction and handling on- and off-road. As the top layer of tread compound wears away, it reveals a second layer specifically developed to resist aging and remain pliable to retain more wet traction-even as it wears.Internally, the Dueler A/T REVO features a Computer Optimized Component System that blends twin high strength steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance durability while minimizing weight. O-Beads (which use a single strand of bead wire that is continuously wrapped multiple times until the desired strength is provided) enhance the tire's fit to the wheel to improve uniformity and ride quality.

Transforce AT

The Transforce AT w/UNI-T is Firestone's Commercial Traction light truck tire developed to combine on- and off-road traction with light truck tire capability for sport utility vehicle, pickup, van and commercial vehicle drivers. The Transforce AT is designed to provide year-round traction at job sites and forest trails, as well as on the road and in snow.On the outside, Transforce AT radials feature a Long Link Carbon tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design that uses notched shoulders and independent intermediate tread blocks to blend handling with foul weather traction. Wide circumferential grooves provide hydroplaning resistance while lateral grooves and multiple sipes provide the biting edges needed to enhance light snow traction. On the inside, twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon help maintain the tire's shape to enhance performance at highway speeds while a polyester cord body enhances ride quality.
